Sometimes, a small investment in web-based software design is all it takes to make far more efficient use of the potential hidden in existing databases and information systems. You may not even be aware of the possibilities - but part of our partnership role with our clients is to spot these opportunities and to recommend and deliver integrated solutions.
A few examples.
Desira, a major regional car distributor, had an internal database for used car stocks, which is now fully integrated with the company's website. The data is exported to the site daily, giving an accurate picture of current stocks, allowing on-line sales enquiries at any time, and giving individual sales staff the facility to add car pictures from any location.
Bayer Animal Health use software designed by one of our senior developers to offer dog and cat owners an automated e-mail service, reminding them when their pet's next routine worming treatment is due. The user simply has to register on-line - a procedure which also helps Bayer to build a valuable database. The system can be seen in action at: http://www.stopwormsdead.co.uk/
And recently, we have been appointed by a major national manufacturer and fitter of replacement uPVC windows to create an automated research module that tracks the performance of their sales team, monitoring follow-up and client satisfaction.
All three examples are different, but they all have one thing in common: for a very modest cost, they all wring the last drop of value out of available data.
If you think there may be a way in which your business could be made more efficient, please contact us without obligation, and let's talk about it. |
